Service that shows up in resale
Keep interval records for oil, filters, coolant and belts. A load-bank test within 12 months is strong evidence that the set still makes rated power.
Common red flags
White exhaust under load, oil in the coolant, and unexplained hour jumps. If you are listing a set, photograph the control panel hours, the data plate and the engine serial in the same gallery.
Sellers can attach photos and a short video on the listing form. A start-up clip is often enough to start a serious inquiry.
