Scammers pressure you to pay "shipping" or "escrow" fees outside QuipMan, usually via wire transfer or gift cards. QuipMan is a listing marketplace — all inspection, payment and logistics are arranged directly between you and the counterparty. Never send money before verifying equipment and documents in person.
An email claims you owe money or are owed a refund and asks for bank details. QuipMan only contacts you from addresses ending in @quipman.com. When in doubt, log in and check your messages on the site before replying.
Links in unsolicited emails or SMS may lead to look-alike login pages. Always navigate to QuipMan by typing the address yourself rather than clicking links.
