At approximately 12.5 t and 5,215 x 2,140 x 3,040 mm, the overall height of 3,040 mm exceeds the usable internal height of both a 40HQ (approx. 2,695 mm) and a 20GP (approx. 2,385 mm) container — the machine cannot be shipped in one piece inside a standard container. Export is normally arranged by one of: (1) 40' open-top (OT) container, loaded by crane and secured inside; (2) part shipment — headstock, faceplate, column, bed, rotary table and electrical cabinet packed separately into 40GP / 40HQ; (3) 40' flat rack or breakbulk vessel. The exact method must be confirmed by the packing contractor against measured dimensions, and dismantling, packing and lifting costs must be quoted separately. We assist with the dismantling plan, wooden-case packing and securing, heavy flatbed inland haulage, customs declaration and export documentation.
